"city/heart"
There’s a poem that anthropomorphises the city and then substitutes it for an entity consisting of an amalgamation of previous lovers (I made that up because it sounded good). Then there’s a short story that deals with the normalisation of violence in black immigrant communities (someone else said that, but it sounded better than anything I could have made up). Then there are five filmic vignettes titled by lines from the songs that would make up the soundtrack if, in fact, they were filmed vignettes.
